Crumpsall Close Neighbours are Blooming Marvellous! Print

Wednesday 1st April 2015

Local community members of the Crumpsall Close Neighbours Residents Association have planted tens of thousands of bulbs in this woodland glade on the banks of the River Irk in North Manchester in recent months - and now you can see the fantastic results!

As well as this stunning display of crocus and snowdrops, there's more to come.. bluebells are now waiting for their turn to bloom. The group have also worked with local children to build a bug hotel and put up lots of nest boxes. The group are now worthy recipients of a Biodiversity Hotspot Award! Well done Close Neighbours!
