Manchester's Green Corridor Launch PDF Print E-mail

Manchester City Council, in partnership with the Ramblers, the NHS and Red Rose Forest, launched a city-wide Green Corridor on Monday 29 October.

To celebrate this launch there will be a series of walks taking place that will begin at Fletcher Moss Gardens in Didsbury and take in 14 different routes through the corridor as it winds through the city.

Autumnwatch at Cringle Park – Sunday 28 October 2012 PDF Print E-mail

Join Manchester City Council, Red Rose Forest and The Friends of Cringle Park for a day devoted to nature this Autumn!

Aimed at children, this event will give them a chance to try bulb and tree planting, making bird boxes and even creating their own clay goblins – just in time for Halloween!

Activities start at 10.30am and are expected to last to 2.30pm
